The more responsibilities I said “yes” to, the more time I felt anxious about dispersing my energy. I was constantly worried about making sure weddings ran smoothly, serving couples to the best of my ability, managing a team, and impressing my manager — all at the same time. (Sound familiar?)
But success didn’t come without its dark side
So when I was given the opportunity to work as a wedding and events assistant, I jumped (quite literally) at the chance.
My passion for creating meaningful human connections and my impeccable organizational skills quickly led to getting promoted to assistant wedding and events manager.

Wedding photographers seemed to have it especially hard because of the pressure they’re under to deliver a top-notch product, the importance of their work, and the long hours they have to work without much (if any) support.
After opening up to other wedding professionals, I realized I wasn’t the only one.
Every day was a sprint. And that’s when I realized just how difficult being a wedding professional can be.
After weddings, I was exhausted, but I still had to check emails, return missed calls, and tackle a seemingly never-ending list of looming tasks. Don’t even get me started on trying to take time off…
We’re not the type to get cold feet as soon as you sign our contract. Instead, we stay in touch and available so you always feel supported.
